Ukrainian educational institutions, such as the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, have faced severe operational disruptions due to the ongoing full-scale war and subsequent forced relocations. Under these extreme conditions, maintaining continuous administrative and educational workflows became a critical challenge.
Relying on traditional paper-based systems under such circumstances threatened to paralyze operations, risking data loss, delayed communications, and insecure document approvals. Physical logistics became nearly impossible, creating urgent security vulnerabilities for confidential student and administrative records.
To overcome these obstacles, the university integrated an electronic document management system from InBase. This digital transition enabled staff to securely create, approve, and sign documents remotely using qualified electronic signatures, ensuring uninterrupted continuity and significantly accelerating processing times.
From an environmental perspective, this digital transition represents a major step forward. Eliminating physical paperwork directly minimizes resource consumption by drastically reducing paper waste, printing energy, and the carbon footprint associated with physical document logistics.
